June 27

Dear Friends,

This is not a real update-- just a quick note!

We are thankful to have arrived safely in Minnesota after several days in Washington DC (staying with relatives, and sightseeing!) and several days in Charlotte, NC where we had medical appointments and interviews with SIM USA folks. We are thankful for the structure and support provided by SIM, and we will be telling you more about that in the days ahead.

We were happy to be greeted by friends and relatives in Minnesota last Thursday, and have been enjoying fresh strawberries, blueberries, and other yummy fruit we don't often see in Senegal! It's fun to have Joey with us now, and we are looking forward to Danny's arrival next week.

We want those of you in the Twin Cities area to know about an Open House that our support team from Bethlehem is holding Friday night. Whether or not you are part of Bethlehem, we'd love to see any of you who could be with us on Friday night. I'm pasting in the note from the Bethlehem Star in hope that you might be able to join us!

OPEN HOUSE for DECKERS
Friday, June 29 from 6:00-8:00pm
at Mike & Karin Meloch's home
5799 Robin St, Shoreview MN 55126

Join us to celebrate God's work through the Deckers, Bethlehem missionaries with SIM in Senegal, during their visit to Minnesota this summer. Questions? Call Mike Meloch at 651.481.9379.

More soon from the Deckers.

Blessings,
Mary
for the Dakar Deckers now located in Minnesota!
